Most bilingual settings make one script apologise for the other. Yeha started from the opposite premise: neither script gets adjusted to fit the other.
Two weights, matched x-height relationships, and a set of vertical metrics that keep a mixed paragraph from stepping — drawn together rather than adapted.
The family now sets signage, editorial and interfaces across four of our own projects.
Neither script has to apologise.
